It’s unfortunate that you’re considering canceling your safe deposit box, as this could mean giving up the reassuring sense of security it provides. If the location or opening hours of your current branch are not convenient, you can easily switch to one of our 43 other branches across the Netherlands. If the costs of your safe deposit box are a consideration, or if you have fewer items to store, you can also opt for a smaller size. You can view the different box sizes on our website or inquire at your current branch about the available options.

You must terminate your safe deposit box rental agreement in writing. To do so, you can use the form below:

Complete this form with your details known to us. Otherwise, we will not be able to process your notice. The notice period is at least one month before the end of your tenancy agreement. You are responsible for sending your notice in time. After receiving your details, you will receive a response from us within 3 working days. We will contact you to make an appointment to take back your keys. If you do not receive a confirmation from us, please contact us at info@denederlandsekluis.nl.

After we receive your keys, the remaining deposit will be refunded to your bank account within a month. If you wish to rent a safe again in the future, it is important to know that a waiting list may be used due to limited capacity.
