All branches in former bank vaults
A bank vault is invaluable nowadays. Steel-reinforced, 1-meter thick vault walls, with an interlock around it, also with 1-meter thick walls. De Nederlandse Kluis has therefore opened every new branch in a former bank vault. Of course, we have improved these with high-end security technology that the banks previously did not have, such as:

- Mist generator
- Strobe
- Water detection
- Direct connection to the control room
100% robbery proof
The vaults of De Nederlandse Kluis are heavily secured. Because every location is constructionally adjusted, ram-raiding is impossible. All branches of De Nederlandse Kluis are monitored 24 hours per day through live camera images. These images are sent real-time to the control room. In addition, there is at least one trained employee at each branch, and all branches are equipped with high-end security technology. Finally, only the renter of the safe deposit box receives the two original keys. We do not keep copies at the branches, so that no one, other than the renter, can open the safe deposit boxes.
All employees are screened
We are the only provider of safes in the Netherlands who screens all their employees. We only work with the most reliable employees, who are screened through:
- Certificate of Good Behaviour (VOG)
- Office for Credit Registration (BKR)
- Background check
All employees are trained. All employees of De Nederlandse Kluis receive extensive training after the diligent screening process. During this training, attention is paid to privacy, security and service, so that every employee is specialised in working in a vault. This way, we can guarantee the safety of you and your valuables.
Unlike other providers, where staff are not specifically trained in the renting of safes, this is where our primary attention goes to.
